A Reform beit tefillah with a warm approach to Jewish tradition
At Temple Mount Sinai, our worship services are noted for their inclusiveness and accessibility. We use the liturgy of the Reform Movement ("Gates of Prayer" as well as the new "Mishkan Tefillah") and liturgy created by Rabbi Bach. Our prayerbooks make use of transliteration, which allows those who have not yet learned to read the Hebrew letters to participate fully in those portions of the service which are in Hebrew. Rabbi Bach's divrei torah ("sermons") bring the weekly Torah portions and the words of prayers to life for modern Jews. Joyful music - sung from the bima and from the pews - helps to create our special community.
Please consult the web calendar to confirm the time and location of this week's services.
