Temple Mount Sinai is offering an wonderful program for our teenage girls. This program offers adolescent girls the opportunity to gather on a monthly basis to learn, laugh, and grow as they explore the challenges and joys of their lives, sharing their thoughts, and experiences, while accessing the wisdom of their heritage. The method of facilitation is experiential, meaning that key concepts are designed to be solicited, rather than imposed. Through a variety of activities such as discussion, reflective-writing, dramatic improvisation, craft-making and traditional and creative rituals, the girls are led on a journey of discovery and self-revelation guided and enriched by Jewish teaching. The girls and their facilitator discuss themes and holidays associated with each month and deal with important girls’ issues such as body image, friendships, assertiveness, family and school struggles in a Jewish context. This is a national program that has been successful throughout the country for the past four years. Youth Group Pages

MSTY (Mount Sinai Temple Youth) is our senior youth group for students in grades 9-12. MSTY activities have included events like parties for Purim, trips to neighboring Jewish communities, social action projects and more!
MSTY is also a great way to learn and practice leadership skills, by becoming an officer on the Executive Board. Exec. Board makes programming decisions and helps by doing the work to make the youth community more fun! Youth Group Pages
